To my loving father, my love for you will live on forever. You lead by example with your strength, big heart and strong work ethic. Your family was important to you. Every Easter and Christmas you would call your parents and brothers and sisters, uncles, aunts and cousins to wish them well. Tears were flowing as you missed them very much. Eating dinner as a family was cherished and you always said that you might not be able to live like a king but “I eat better than a king”. You made sure food was in abundance and the refrigerator and freezer were always stacked. You loved making wine, tomato sauce, sopresatta and prosciutto. And sports. Especially soccer. You were a gifted soccer player and it is too bad that I never did see you play. I have heard the stories of how you were one of the best players in Rende at that time and if you had chosen that path you might not have come to Canada. You fell in love with hockey and I loved watching the Leafs with you and going to Leafs games and Blue Jay games. These are some of the treasured memories that I will remember forever. Thank you for being my father. If I had a choice and did it all over again, I would choose you as my father. I love you Dad. Rest In Peace.
