In Celebration of

Elza Tolic

October 1, 1939 -  March 5, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elza Tolic on March 5, 2026. Born on October 1, 1939, Elza was a woman of immense warmth and character who dedicated her life to the well-being of those she held dear. She leaves behind a legacy defined by her caring nature, her genuine spirit, and an unwavering love for her family.

To her children, Jasna and Miro, she was a constant North Star—always there, always supportive, and always putting their needs above her own. Her warmth extended through the generations as a proud grandmother to Ivan, Elizabeth, Alexander, and Eric, and later as a cherished great-grandmother to Luka, Leia, Maliya, and Kiara.

Elza’s life was defined by the simple, profound act of being there for those she loved. She was remarkably caring and truly genuine, possessing the rare ability to make everyone in her presence feel seen and supported. Her hands were never idle, and her heart was never closed.

Though she will be missed dearly, her family finds comfort in the countless memories of her kindness and the many skills she passed down. She was, and will always remain, the beautiful foundation upon which her family was built.

Rest in peace, Elza, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to so many. You are loved and cherished beyond words and will be forever missed.

Draga Jasna, Miro and obitelji!
Nasa iskrena sucut za Vasom voljenom mamom!
Teta Elza ce nam uvijek ostati u najljepsem sjećanju.
Njen osmijeh, njene ohrabrujuce rijeci, pune ljubavi i topline.
Iskre u njezinim očima pune ljubavi nikad necu zaboraviti kao i njen blag osmijeh kad god me vidjela.
Teta Elza neka Vas Božji andjeli odnesu pred lice Gospodnje i neka Vam dragi Bog podari nagradu za svu Vasu ljubav na ovome svijetu koju ste svima tako nesebicno pružali!

Vole Vas puno Maja i Miro Biskupovic sa djecom Roko , Martina, Josipa , Lucia I Victoria sa malim Mateom

I'm so proud to call you my mother. The most beautiful soul that I have ever known. You showed us what unconditional love is. You taught us about patience and respect. You only knew how to give and help. It was like breathing to you.

My entire life I watched how people gravitate to you. Instantly drawn to your presence. Your children love you, your grandchildren adore you, your great grandchildren just want to hug and kiss you all the time. Little Lei always wanted to come and see you in the hospital and Maliya laying beside you in the bed. You were truly carved by God's hand. A living angel.

Even now, in the quiet moments, I still feel your warmth. You didn't just teach us how to love; you showed us that love is who we are meant to be. Because of you, kindness feels possible, patience feels endless, and family feels sacred. I carry your heart in mine every day, Mom, and I promise to keep giving the way you did—freely, fully, without keeping score.

Watching you fight, still smiling through the pain, still asking about everyone else before yourself—that was you until the very end.

Sleep sweetly, my beautiful Mom. You've earned every bit of peace. I'll keep telling your stories, living your lessons, and loving the way you taught me—big, brave, and unconditional.

With all my love, forever your children,

Miro and Jasna
