In Celebration of

Elvira Moss

January 9, 1942 -  December 22, 2025

Elvira Eleanore Moss passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, at the age of 83. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Rudolph Moss, who predeceased her.

Elvira will be deeply missed by her loving family: her children, Esther Stickle (Reed) and Glenn Moss (Giselle); her grandchildren, Brendon Stickle (Alyson) and Ryan Stickle; and her cherished great-grandchild, Arthur Stickle. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Betty Krueger, along with extended family and dear friends.

Born on January 9, 1942, Elvira’s early life was shaped by resilience and hope. In 1949, her family left war-torn Germany in search of a better life, first settling in Argentina before eventually making their permanent home in Toronto in 1958. Fluent in both German and Spanish, Elvira carried her rich cultural heritage with pride throughout her life.

Elvira was known for her loving nature, unwavering faith, and strong work ethic. She expressed her faith through active participation in church life, including singing in the church choir and the Hansa Haus Choir. She worked faithfully for many years as a payroll clerk at Berkim Construction.

Alongside her husband Rudi, Elvira loved to travel and treasured time spent at the farm, where she found joy, peace, and lasting memories with family.

I just received a telephone call yesterday from a friend from the Church in Toronto, sending belated Christmas wishes and extended best wishes for the coming New Year when she advised me of your loved ones passing. I was in shock and overwhelmed and didn't expect this. I'm thinking of you as a family in your time of mourning. She was always very friendly at church and I'm sure you as a family will miss her dearly.
My sincere condolences,
Ellen Korsch

Both Doris and I send our condolences and our love to Esther, Glenn, Betty and the whole family. May the knowledge that Elvira served and loved her Lord bring you some peace and comfort during this sad and challenging time.
Elvira was a long time faithful member at Euclid and Humbervale Park Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir along with supporting various church ministries. She continued to be a faithful member at Capstone Community Bible Church when merger of the churches took place.
As believers in Christ, we are encouraged by Jesus’ promise that she is now in His presence.
Blessings,
Doris and Lothar

Correct that Elvira's life was of service and faith for which she will be remembered. What I did not know that Elvira spoke Spanish and fluently.

I am unable to attend the visitation or funeral, however other family members will attend.
