Elva Agnes McLean (nee Henry)

February 15, 1928 - May 12, 2024

Passed away peacefully on May 12, 2024 at the age of 96.
Predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, Angus Gordon McLean. Loving Mother to Kathy Mason (Mike) and Sandra McCuaig (Bruce). Adored Grandmother to Jeff Mason (Emily), Sean Mason (Gillian), Samantha McKerlie (Ryan) and Charlotte McCuaig (Jonathan) and Great Grandmother to Alex, Mikayla and Brynlee.

She will be dearly missed by her sister Norma Rice (Brian) her brother Jim Henry (Sue), her McLean brothers and sister in law as well as many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her sisters Gwen Tobey and Jean McCulloch.

The family wishes to extend our sincere appreciation to the staff at Walden Circle Retirement Community and Credit Valley Hospital. Special thanks to Natasha Perera and Karlene Bland for their unwavering devotion and kindness to Mom.

When I think of Elva words come to mind like,welcoming,caring, and graciousness.
She was a wonderful sister in law. Elva and Angus had a lovely marriage which I always admired.

Elva always had the brightest smile and warmest welcome (and treats). Was such a joy to see her. During some winters the siblings met up in Florida, and I was occasionally lucky enough to visit. Was always extra special to join Aunt Elva and my Mom (not usually a shopper) on trips to the mall to look for bargains.
