In Celebration of

Elsie Helen (Blazetich) Marshall

May 31, 1929 - June 25, 2025

Elsie Helen Marshall passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, in Mississauga, Ontario, at the age of 96. Born in Welland, Ontario on May 31, 1929, Elsie lived a long and meaningful life rooted in love, strength, and devotion to her family.

Elsie was predeceased by her beloved husband, William Marshall, in 1995. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and sense of humour that lives on in her children, Laura, Maureen (Russ), and John (Heike), as well as her cherished grandchildren, Shelagh and Gavin.

Elsie will be remembered as a passionate gardener, a strong advocate for issues important to her, and a compassionate person who would always offer her broad expertise to help others. Elsie’s feisty spirit, resilience, and love will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The family would like to thank the exemplary staff at Trillium Mississauga Hospital on 4B and the palliative care unit.

At Elsie’s request, a private family service will be held on July 12, 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly invites donations to a charity of your choice in her memory.
