Dear Family. My deepest condolences to the whole family on your great loss of mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Elsie was a wonderful person and a very dear friend. I will miss her terribly. I will miss our chats, coffee breaks and many more adventures. Our main topic was mainly about our grandchildren which she enjoyed the most.
May God grant peace and bring her to His kingdom. Rest in Peace.

My Aunt Elsie has always been really important to me. I’m truly blessed to have had her in my life for 57 years, longer than either of my parents. I loved and respected her deeply. I am forever grateful for the treasured memories I hold in my heart that will never be forgotten; The quiet times spent together sharing stories and catching up on family news, The fun shopping sprees, And the fabulous parties and family celebrations that we both attended. Some of my favourite memories are of our trip to Las Vegas, sharing stories and staying up late, giggling in our room.
Elsie was extremely clever. She had a sharp wit and was particular in her speech. One look… Could make you burst out laughing if she was being cheeky, Or wither you if she disapproved. She always conducted herself in a very regal manner and reminded me of the Queen.
Her words of wisdom were sometimes stern, But always heartfelt and truthful. Her uncompromising, integrity and honesty have Proven to be among my most important guides. Life forces us all into positions of compromise and presents challenges to our honesty and integrity. I observed my Aunt meet these challenges with courage and toughness, and a sense of right and wrong, which was very inspiring! She had character of the highest calibre and represented sensitivity and consideration towards everyone.
Elsie was a warm and loving person, Who was blessed with a devoted husband, Three handsome amazing sons, A wonderful family, And deep friendships. She enriched the lives of all who met her. How grateful and fortunate we all were to know her.
Elsie considered me as her last link to her sister, My mother Mimi. As it turns out, she was mine…
Those we love, don’t go away
They stay beside us every day
Unseen unheard, but always near
Still loved still missed
And very dear.
My dearest Aunt,
I have no doubt you’re an angel, so I know where you are now. I will see you when I close my eyes at night, And my soul travels to that other realm. You live in my heart now.
Love always, Lynn
