In Celebration of

Elizabeth McQuade (née McDonald)

August 27, 1951 -  May 28, 2017

With profound sadness, on May 28, 2017, we lost our much-loved mother, grandmother, and dear friend to cancer. Cherished wife of Dan. Devoted mother of Lindsey and Megan (Kyle). Loving Gran to Finn and Audrey. Elizabeth will also be sadly missed by her loving sisters Carole (Richard) and Linda (Dale), and brother Drew (Maria), her nieces and nephews, and by her dear friends. Visitation will be held at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke (between Kipling and Islington Aves.) on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate Elizabeth's Life will be held at the same Turner & Porter Butler Chapel on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11 am. For those who wish, donations in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to either the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Trillium Health Partners, or Princess Margaret Hospital.

Betty was a terrific friend. I have so many happy memories of our time together in high school and beyond. The whole McDonald clan treated me like a member of their wonderful family.
My thoughts are with you all during this very sad time.
With my deepest sympathy,
Beth Ray (Wanamaker)

We will miss Elizabeth so much. After almost 20 years of Book Club fun, Elizabeth offered humour, witty comments, some great books, and special friendship to us all. To Dan and family, heartfelt sympathy for your loss. RIP, Elizabeth.
