In Celebration of

Elizabeth Mary Hill Knox

February 11, 1950 -  February 15, 2023

Peacefully, in her seventy-fourth year, Elizabeth went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on February 15, 2023. Predeceased by her parents, Lydia (Hill) and William (Bill) Knox and by her beloved Aunt Molly (Mary Hill) and Uncle Albert Waugh.

Gratitude and thanks to the residents and staff at Bethany Manor for their friendship, care and Christian fellowship. Special thanks to the caregivers at Home Instead (Markham) for their daily support and companionship.

A private family service will be held at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Save the Children Canada (savethechildren.ca).

With Christ, which is far better.

Elizabeth was a unique gal with her own ideas and values. She was raised in a loving Christian family and chose her own path in life. Her reunion with extended family, now deceased, will be a celebration with our heavenly Father.

We had a long chat on the phone in December and Elizabeth seemed very well. So was shocked to hear of her passing but happy to know she is with her Lord and Saviour! Forever with the Lord.
We spent many happy days together when we were younger and with dear aunt Molly and uncle Albert. They were very good and hospitable to me.

Sending our love to Marilyn and Stuart and Esther in the loss of Elizabeth. We have many memories of her over the years at Pine Grove- her gentle manner and sweet smile. She will be so happy to enter her heavenly home. Xo
