Elzbieta Henryka Jacuk sadly passed away on Sunday, March 22,2020, at the age of 73 in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Elzbieta was born in Poland and was the youngest of 2 children-Kama (older sibling), born to Kazimierz and Weronika Pietrakiewicz.

On December 26,1969, Elzbieta married the love of her life Richard Jacuk in Poland.
Elzbieta and Richard had 2 children, Robert and Kasia. The family immigrated to Austria, and then to Canada where they landed in 1982.

Elzbieta was a teacher for over 35 years combined in Poland and continued with her passion for teaching in Canada for International languages. She loved her passion for teaching and volunteering, including for many years as committee member of the Polish Teachers Union in Mississauga.

Elzbieta also worked for many years as a graphic designer and when that career ended she ran her own home daycare business for many years before retiring.

Elzbieta also loved to write poems for children in her spare time, and published 2 children's books on her own. In addition to this, she also with a business partner co-wrote and published 8 Education books for polish international language schools.

Elzbieta always had a positive outlook on life, and was always strong, loving, tenacious, and a sympathetic individual.

Elzbieta also had a strong Catholic faith, and often visited her Church St. Maximilian Kolbe mass with her husband on Sundays.

Elzbieta in her spare time also loved to read books, complete crossword puzzles, and enjoy quality time with her family and friends who meant very much to her as she also was well-loved.

Our hearts are heavy, and we will always keep in our hearts her memory with us, as she was a daughter, a wife, a mother,, mother in law, a colleague and a friend for all.

We love you Ela, and you will be eternally missed.

Richard, Robert, Kim (wife to Robert) and Kasia

Although I did not know you long, I am honoured to have known you. I will always remember your shy curiosity, for the man who had won her daughter’s heart. I appreciate your warmth and your acceptance. You will forever have a piece of my heart.

Thinking of all the happy and crazy times we got together, smocking outside at winter when temperature was -15C and holding each other to keep ourselves warm, going to Bingo Or Casuno where you teach me how to play for the first time, calling a little party outside our townhouses, cooking, dancing....just can stop crying....
No words can describe how my heart is broken💔
I will never forget You, Elu❤️

Words can’t express the pain I am feeling right now, losing my mother, best friend, my life!

You have always put me first above yourself, and provided me with an amazing life, in which I will be externally grateful.

My heart will always keep you with me and I will see you again my mamusia one day and we once again will be together.

Life will never ever be the same without you but I must go on with all the memories filled in my heart.

Thank you for everything and I wish I could have had more time with you but I know this was God’s plan.

You were my first love, and my last.
Love you forever and ever xoxoxoxo

Your daughter, Kasia.
