In Celebration of

Eileen Kennedy

October 22, 1927 -  July 29, 2021

Passed away peacefully on July 29, 2021 in her 94th year surrounded by family. She was born October 22, 1927. Until recently she had a long, happy and fulfilling life.

Even though her health was failing she was appreciative of the kindness and care from the staff and friends at Presentation Manor. Eileen’s life can best be summarized by what was important to her; Faith, Family and Friends.

Her Faith grounded her in troubled times and her Family was always a priority especially on holidays and birthdays. Her friends were lifelong and new friends were always an integral part of her life. As the last surviving Kennedy of the original “8“ she will be dearly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews , great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, August 4th, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. by invitation only from the family. For those who are not able to be present during the service, but wish to view the service online, you may use the link provided below.

Sorry to hear of Eileens death but happy to know that she is now eternally happy. She was always involved in our community activities until she left our building. When we had a new superintendant who had very limited English skills Eileen gave him English classes on his lunch hour and he became very proficient and was with us for many years. Only one of the very kind things that she did while she was with us.

Dearest Aunt Eileen,
I'll always treasure fond memories of dinners and chats at your house. I always appreciated the interesting stories of your life experiences.

The best Aunt with the best stories and outlook on life. I always enjoyed our time together and going for fish and chips. You were always looking out for others before yourself. Helping young families in need. I hope you are surrounded by your brothers and sisters. Rest in Peace.

Amen
