In Celebration of

Edward Taylor

March 16, 1950 -  July 2, 2021

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ed Taylor, aged 71, on Friday, July 2nd, 2021.

Loving husband and best friend to wife Grace, and beloved father to Connor (Chelsea). He is survived by his children Julia, Scott, Andrew (Deanna) and Patrick (Andrea). Loving doggy dad to his “Big Girl” Eliza the Chihuahua. Dear brother to Jackie (Wade), and Jo-ann (Gary). He is predeceased by mother Doris and father Edward, sister Rita and brother Bobby (Barb).

Ed was a person who worked extremely hard and always thought of himself as a Toronto man through-and-through. He grew up in Leslieville neighbourhood and was a proud alumnus of Danforth Tech. He then went on to be a long-time pioneer of Bell Canada, where he leaves behind many friends and colleagues too numerous to mention. He was always generous with his time and kind to everyone he knew. His friends and family will miss his dry sense of humour very much.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday July 8th at St. Joseph Parish in Streetsville. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Turner & Porter Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel, 905-828-8000.
