Dear Sandra and family: my heart is sad for you at the great loss of such a good man, husband, father brother, grandfather and friend. I have many memories and conversations we shared over the years. Lunches at casa verdes with Sandra . Laughs at Christmas parties. Rejoicing at the announcements of babies being born. His and mine. I'm looking at his picture and seeing the man I so admired. H always had time to listen.. I asked God to welcome him into his kingdom of light and peace. I am a better person to have had the honour of knowing Edward J Hystead Esquire and spending time with him on this earth. Kisses goodbye, my friend. X
We are so, so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. We offer our prayers and sympathies to all of you- Sandy and the children and grands. We will always remember Ed as a loving family man and good neighbour! We can't omit enjoying his witty humour....
Although Ed struggled with many health issues, he was always game for a good hug and a hearty smile. He was a super delivery man for all of Sandy's baked goods, gifts and flowers to all of my grands, weather or time not withstanding! Thank you for your kindness and generosity! We will miss you across the fence....
May his soul rest in peace!
You will always be in our hearts and minds
