It is with great sadness the Flis family announces the passing of Edward at Trillium Health Partners - Mississauga Site, on Monday, January 20, 2020 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Jennie. Loving father of Stephen (Darlene), and Arlene Barker (Scott). Cherished dziadzia of Bradley, Danielle, Brian, Stephanie, Lauren, Catherine, Michael and Craig. Adored Pra Dziadzia of Jackson, Riley, Mackenzie, Mason and Lillian. Dear brother of John, Jessie, Albert, Mary Mckeown and the late Adele Pawlowski.

Remembering Uncle Eddie, his calm, quiet and kind presence. Thinking about his remarkable life that took him and grandpa to Nanaimo to work a few times in those early years. Sometimes I imagine them in the area wondering if they walked these same streets. Trusting he is now in the same loving embrace with mom, dad, Uncle )ohm, Aunt Veronica, Babci, Dziadek, and cousinJohn.
