In Celebration of

Edward "Eddie" Colero

April 4, 1936 -  June 6, 2020

‘One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.’

Bob Marley

Edward (Eddie) John Colero passed away peacefully after a courageous journey through Parkinson’s. Eddie’s love of music was rivaled only by his love for his wife of 58 years, Winnie, and devoted son Kevin. To his brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces, Eddie was the sweet conductor of endless fun, magic and music. The mischievous comedian whose generosity and humanity were benchmarks of his beautiful life. To his friends, and to the many artists he believed in, he was an inspiring force for good, and a man to be counted on in any situation. Although our hearts are heavy, and our tears unending, we will carry his memory with us each day, and celebrate his extraordinary life every time we hear a beautiful song, or the sounds of people laughing together. We will look to a celebration of his life at an appropriate time in the future, but until then...put some music on the record player, turn it up loud. We are sure he’d like that. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Parkinsons Canada.

When he wasn’t well, one of his top priorities was to have this four and a half minute video he made posted online for others to see. Warning that it’s 654 MB. Please enjoy and share with others because that’s what he would have wanted.

What can I say about my Uncle Eddie that you don't already know!
He always had a smile for you and a laugh. Just speaking to him made you feel loved and important.
I would like to think that all his family in heaven had the biggest celebration on Saturday night when Eddie arrived. You will be deeply missed!!!!
