Peacefully, on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at the Trillium Health Centre- Mississauga, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Arnold. Loving mother of Rick (Marie), Sylvia Perdue (Glenn) and Roland (Tonia). Cherished Nana of Trisha (Elie), Mike, Rhyan, Mitchell and Nana 2 of Michael and Angelia. Loving sister of the late Mario Catena (late Yolanda), Elsie Duma (Tony) and Rolly Catena (late Joan) and the late Mary Thistel and the late Ronnie Catena. She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Dear Rick, Roland, Sylvia and family. On behalf of Joanne and I and our family, we are all so saddened to hear of your dear Mother's passing. As you know your Mom, held, and will forever, hold, a special place in my heart. I cherish the memories of our phone conversations in recent years. She was a remarkable woman and really had that special way of making you feel loved and special. She was such a terrific Auntie to me ~ to us ALL. I shall miss her dearly and well know this acute sense of loss. My greatest wish for you is that the outpouring of support to come from family and friends will help to assuage and comfort you in the days ahead.
