In Celebration of

Drago “Charlie/Campi” Pavisic

August 25, 1935 -  July 6, 2021

With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Drago “Charlie/Campi” Pavisic on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at St Joseph’s Hospital in Toronto.

Drago was born on August 25, 1935 in Kriz, Croatia and he came to Canada in 1958 where he met his late wife Sonja. He will be dearly missed by family and friends everywhere. He leaves behind his two daughters, Suzana Greenaway (Adrian) and Irena Grcevic (Pavisic), and five grandsons, Richard (Lesley), Robert, Josip (Alessia), Stefan and William. Drago truly valued his lifelong friendships and held his extended family of nephews, nieces and in-laws close to his heart.

Our sincerest thanks to the devoted staff at Delmanor Prince Edward who have been tremendous over these past 6 years. He enjoyed his new friendships there. We would also like to extend our thanks and gratitude to the medical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Toronto, who supported Drago these last few weeks.

Drago had a presence that was larger than life. His many stories and life lessons were his gift to us. There were many happy and fun times together at the family home and up at the cottage.

Please fondly remember Drago (Campi/Charlie) and share a gift of his stories as he loved life and all of us.

Due to the current Covid health and safety measures, unfortunately, there will not be an open visitation or funeral opportunity.
