Peacefully, at Post Inn Village in Oakville, on Monday, September 26, 2022 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Diane Ash (née Ring) (deceased) for 44 years. Loving father of Courtney (Bryan) and grandfather of Ashley, Colin, and Emily. Dear brother of Fred (deceased) (Marlene), Donald (deceased), brother-in-law of Patricia (deceased) and Pat. Cherished uncle of Frederick, Matthew and Andrew. Doug will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, sense of humour, and compassionate spirit. A reception will be held from 12-2 followed by a private Interment at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens in Oakville.
