To The Day Family
Dear Linda, Donna & Ron,
Please accept my family’s sincerest condolences on the passing of your Mother.
Aunt Dorothy was always special to me. Growing up in the family home we all shared for 15 years, to me was like having 2 Moms to watch over us all.
I remember many a kind conversation with Dorothy in your upstairs kitchen, and once we all went our separate ways, I always looked forward to family gatherings to be greeted by her big welcoming Billinghurst smile that she shared with her sisters. During our first visit with her at the hospital, Leslie and I were fortunate to enjoy her cheerful witty personality and that special smile, in spite of the numbing effect of her pain medication.
If one believes in the after-life, it’s reassuring to know that Aunt Dorothy is no longer suffering but has entered the hereafter to join our Grandparents, my parents, Uncle Bill, Uncle Garey, and most importantly, your Dad, Uncle Stan, to once again happily watch over us all.
With Deepest Sympathies,
Rick, Leslie & Will Billinghurst
