In Celebration of

Dorothy Cashley

November 12, 1949 -  February 25, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dorothy Cashley on Saturday, February 25th, 2023 at the age of 73. This devoted, loving and caring woman was cherished wife to Terry of 41 years, beloved mother to Jaclyn (husband Trevor) and Megan, adored Baba to Troy and Rory who meant the world to her. She was a strong and admired woman who loved her family fiercely, and would do anything for them. She was always there for those close to her as a sounding board, encouragement or for a laugh.

Dorothy was an elementary school teacher with TCDSB for 36 years. She made the classroom brighter with her knowledge and charisma, and along the way met many lifelong friends.

She has left a permanent engraved mark in our hearts and will forever be remembered by her husband, daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Sending my love to all the Cashley’s at this difficult time. I’m grateful to Dorothy for making my childhood so special and allowing me to spend so much time at their home. Thank you, Dorothy, for raising such amazing daughters and for giving so much of yourself to help nurture young minds. You will be missed and never forgotten.
I’m sorry I could not be there in person for all of you.
