In Celebration of

Doris Margaret Murphy

April 2, 1932 -  December 28, 2024

Peacefully passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Millennium Trail Manor at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband William Yetman (1979) and survived by her husband James Murphy. Loving mother of Debra Yetman and step-sons Shane Murphy and Chris Murphy and daughter in-law Cathy Murphy. Doris will be missed by the Yetman/Murphy families.

Doris was born in Rushoon, Newfoundland but arrived in Toronto at the age of 18. She worked for CIBC for over 30 years before retiring and spending many happy years in Florida.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Millennium Train Manor who were so caring and compassionate during her final months battling dementia.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel 2180 Hurontario St. Mississauga (Hwy 10 N of QEW) on Friday January 3, 2025 from 11:30 am until the time of the Service to start at - 12:30 pm . Reception to follow then interment at Assumption Cemetery.

Debbie we are so sad to hear about the passing of Aunt Doris, our prayers are with you. Your mom was such a wonderful person, soft spoken, kind and elegant. Our hearts go out to you, as we know you will miss her dearly. I wish to believe that my god mother is now up there in heaven looking out for all of us. May God’s Peace be with her.
