In peace and in the care of the compassionate staff at Copernicus Lodge, Donata passed on Nov 23, 2019, a day short of turning 88.

Donata will be remembered for her love of family and passion for celebrating life’s key moments with traditional meals, friendship and humour. She brought joy to everyone who grew to know her – always preferring to give of herself. Her presence was always felt, even with restricted mobility in her final years.

Donata was preceded in death by her parents Maria and Edward Puzinowski, her husband Julian, her sister Lodzia (Tadeusz). She is survived by her son Roman (Jane) and daughter Eva (Derek), her sister Krystyna ( deceased Michael), and two lovely granddaughters Alexandra and Vivienne. She will be missed by all her nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and lovely friend to everyone who came to know and be with her. Her memory will be kept close in our hearts.

Visitations are available on Wednesday, November 27th, 2019, at Turner and Porter, Yorke Chapel.
The times are 2 pm to 4 pm in the afternoon.
A Catholic rosary will be said at 6 PM, followed by a second visitation until 8 PM.
A funeral mass will take place on Thursday, November 28th, 2019, at 9:30 AM, at All Saints Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
