I was so sorry to hear of Dons passing. I worked with Don for many years. He was a wonderful man, he was fair, considerate and always took the time to listen. He will be missed.
Dear George and Joan and family , my sincere condolences in the passing of your brother, Donald. May your fond memories sustain you through this difficult time.
I knew Don well. I worked as a Customs Inspector from 1973 to March 1976, After I joined commercial operations at PIA and then in July 1978, returned to Passenger Operations, as a Superintendent. Here I worked with Don again.
In Dec. 1978,I joined the Criminal Investigations branch, where from 1993 to 1996, I was in charge of Customs prosecutions for the Toronto Customs District, Again I had a lot to do with Don.
Don was a lovely man. I extend my condolences to his family, friends and fellow workmates.
I am sorry that I could not attend the service today but I am now living in Sidney, British Columbia, which is on Vancouver Island.
