In Celebration of

Donald Gerald Clarke

October 15, 1932 -  September 25, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the sudden passing of Donald G. Clarke.

Donald passed away surrounded by love and with his family by his side on September 25th, 2024 at Credit Valley Hospital.

Donald was a paragon of benevolence to many people in his life. He was a devoted Husband to his wife Roberta, recently celebrating their 69th wedding anniversary together on September 17th, 2024. He was a patient and dependable Father to his two children Alanna (Ken) & Chris (Susan). Donald was a witty, tender-hearted and one-of-a-kind Grandpa to his four grandchildren Melissa (Johnny), Kevin (Jackie), Ava (Jonny) & Mia. He was a joyful and gentle Great Grandpa to Scarlett.

Donald lived a life that was centered around helping others and always made sure that everyone was taken care of. He was a long time member of the Masonic Temple, loved spending time with his family, enjoyed reading and tending to his beautiful gardens.

Donald will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in his honour to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.

There are few people who love their family as much as Grandpa loved his. He drove two hours because he wanted to see where I was living at university; he would cry every time one of his grandchildren called or visited because he was so happy. He put love and care into everything he did. We will miss his pristine gardens, his hugs, and the conversations over coffee and donuts from Tim Hortons.
