In Celebration of

Domenica Trentadue

March 22, 1951 -  May 15, 2021

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother Domenica (aka Mimma), on May 15th, 2021, at the age of 70, after a long battle with cancer that she faced with courage and faith. She will be reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Domenic.

Domenica was born in Altamura, Italy, on March 22nd, 1951 to Angela and Giuseppe Lucariello. She immigrated to Canada in 1971 after marrying the love of her life, the late Domenic Trentadue (predeceased September 2006). They lived in Etobicoke where they raised their four children.

Domenica was a loving and devoted mother of four children, Patrizia, Angela, Anthony (Melissa), and Jonathan (Amanda). A proud and cherished Grandmother of Amelia and Domenic.

Domenica will be remembered by her large family in Italy and Toronto.

Throughout her life, Domenica was an active member of her children's School communities, All Saints Elementary and St. Michaelโ€™s Choir School. She was a dear friend and like a sister to so many.

She cherished family traditions and there are so many fond memories of the large gatherings of family and friends that she hosted over the years.

Mom, Domenica, Mimma, Nonna, we will miss you, and you will always be in our hearts. We love you.

Due to current COVID restrictions, there will only be a private service for the immediate family. Livestreaming of the church service will be available.

I will always remember Mom as a classy elegant lady. One thing some people may not know about her is that she loved fashion. As a young girl in Italy, she attended Fashion Design school but did not get a chance to finish. We used to watch the Red Carpet for all award shows together as she loved to see all the elaborate gowns worn by all. In this photo she is wearing a dress and coat she designed and made herself at the approximate age of 16.
