With hearts full of sorrow we announce the passing of Dianne on May 4th, 2025 at the age of 70 with her loving family by her side.

Beloved wife to Walter for 45 wonderful years. Cherished Mother to Paul (Saskia) and Peter (Nathalie). Proud Grandmother of Oskar and Rosamund. Dearly missed by her sister Anne (John), brother-in-law Yury (Nadia), and many nieces, nephews, and brother Danny.

Graduating in 1979 with a BSc in Pharmacy from U of T, Dianne began her career at the Village Pharmacy in Port Credit and the last 16 years at Shoppers DM in Sherway Gardens.

Dianne was gifted with such a compassionate and calming nature that was adored by all in both her professional and family life.

Always putting her family first, Dianne spent endless hours supporting and encouraging her children and grandchildren to follow their dreams. No math problem was too difficult, no out of town athletic game a sacrifice, Dianne could always be counted on to be the guiding light of our family.

Fortunate to experience so many global adventures, culinary experiments, and oddball humor during her lifetime, we know how much Dianne will be missed by her family + friends.

A special thank you to the many friends, neighbors, doctors, nurses, and caregivers that made Dianne’s life so comfortable and fulfilling these last few years.

Funeral arrangements will be at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, Visitation at 10:30am with Chapel Service for Noon on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Reception following at The Old Mill Balmoral Room.
