In Celebration of

Diane Elizabeth Everett

March 5, 1953 -  January 28, 2025

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Diane Everett suddenly at home at age 71 on January 28, 2025. Born in Montreal on March 5, 1953.

She will be missed by (wife) Christiane (Chris) Beaudoin, daughter Alexandra (Andrew), sister Jane Everett and extended family in Cambridge, Ontario. Predeceased by sister Catherine Everett and Alexandra’s mother Kathryn Ethier. Daughter of late Russell and Frances Everett.

Diane grew up in Montreal and attended Bishop’s College School, Bishop’s University and McGill University graduating as a lawyer. She went on to a very successful career in the life insurance industry as Vice President of Planning Services at PPI and President of CAVU Planning Services. Diane was much admired in the industry for her extensive knowledge and excellent communication skills. Often a keynote speaker she generated a warm reception wherever she went.

Diane was an extremely kind and positive person to be around. She possessed a brilliant and open mind.
Diane’s love of Chris and Alex was deep and lasting. She never failed to try to make their dreams come true as she was a most generous person who would give you the shirt off her back if asked.

Gone is a most generous and kind person and the world is lesser for this loss.

A private service has been held for the family. A celebration of life will be held at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga on Friday, February 21, 2025, with a visitation at 2pm, followed by a service at 3pm.

Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foundation Canada in her memory.

Chris, and Alex please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Diane. I first meet Peter when he started with PPI and got to know him over the years when we attended seminars, CALU and Kananaskis. He imparted his knowledge to us over years many times it went over my head and would sit down one and one and get him to dumb it down for me and others, over a beer or scotch for me and a glass of wine for him. He was always kind with humour and helped me with the different areas of his expertise.

Peter became Diane and same kindness and humor continued my last one on one was my last year as a CALU member and we spent time at the back of the room during presentations and in the lounge. I would phone her many times to get different advice on different insurance matters.

She was a friend and I will miss her and our discussions.
