Diana Ferracuti

July 24, 1962 -  January 14, 2020

On Tuesday January, 14, 2020, surrounded by her family and loved ones in the comfort of her home, Diana Ferracuti passed away from cancer at the age of 57. Beloved wife of 20 years to Ron, loving daughter to Rene and predeceased by her father Nick (2016). Dear sister of Theresa (John) and Michael (Brenda) and sister in law of Rick, Sandra (John) and Donna (Stan).

She will be fondly remembered by her 13 nieces and nephews and their spouses. Diana will also be missed by her girlfriends of 46 years, Suzie, Maria, Karin, Sue, Kim, Heather and Janet. Diana will be best remembered for her love of golf, enthusiasm for life and her adoration for her family and friends.

It was Diana and her family’s wishes to thank her oncologist and surgeons at the Kelowna General Hospital, Dr. Jenny Lau of Princess Margaret Palliative Care Clinic and her nursing team as well as Joanne Ellis from Right at Home Canada and Diana’s PSW Paulette for their respect and their exceptional care.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday January 16th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., (between Kipling and Islington Aves.) A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, January 17th at 10:00 a.m. followed by an entombment at Park Lawn Cemetery. A reception will be on Friday, January 17th at 12:30 p.m. at Lambton Golf and Country Club at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kelowna General Hospital Foundation.
