In Celebration of

Desmond Lee Feenstra

December 5, 2025 -  February 20, 2026

On Friday, February 20, 2026, Desmond was taken home in the loving arms of his Saviour, Jesus Christ. Although his life was short, he made a large impact on so many hearts for the glory of God. Loved so much by his parents Darren & Dominique, and his big brother Milo. Much loved grandson of James & Cathy Feenstra, and Lee & Pascale Fearn. Loved greatly by his extended Feenstra and Fearn families, and Church community.

“Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Mom and Dad love you so much and we will see you soon with Jesus.

A Service to Celebrate Desmond’s Life will be held at Hope Bible Church, 500 Great Lakes Boulevard, Oakville on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 1 p.m. Livestreaming will go live here: https://vimeo.com/event/5759982/aacf592039

In memory of Desmond, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.

Darren and family, I am so very sorry to hear of this tragic loss. I can only imagine what you are all experiencing at this time. My heart goes out to you all. If there is a service when I am back from business travels, I will attend. If not, please know I am nonetheless thinking of you during this tragic time of loss. All the best, Darryl

Hi Darren,

I am sorry for your loss. Under your faith and love, Desmond has received grace and has been surrounded by love. It is a blessing that Desmond had you and Dom as his parents. He will continue to love you and Dom in heaven. We will meet Desmond in heaven soon.
