Dennis was one of the finest individuals I've ever had the pleasure to know. His honesty, integrity, north Winnipeg down to earth humor and his care and respect for others made him a very special friend in good times and bad. I still remember the day Dennis finished his last actuarial exam. So many friends came to celebrate with him him that the streets around his home (and our driveway several blocks away) were filled with the cars of those came to congratulate him. Linda and I will miss his always positive outlook on life. Our hearts go out to Joan and their children and grandchildren. Rest in piece old friend.

So sorry for your loss, Joan….to you and your family. Cherish the wonderful memories. I have some happy memories of times with the two of you. ❤️🙏🏻
Dear Joan and Family. I was very saddened by the news of Dennis' passing and wish to extend to you my deepest sympathies. Unfortunately, I will actually be attending a memorial service in Edmonton, Alta on May 16 for a very very dear school friend and will not be in Toronto on either May 16 or 17. I am so sorry to be missing Dennis' memorial service, but again send you my deepest sympathies.

Sending heartfelt condolences and love to Joan, Jason , Joel, ,Jacquiie, and families! Dennis always had a zest for life and boundless energy! He refused to give into cancer and fought it to the end! He wanted to be here for his family to enjoy wonderful times at the cottage on Bella Lake.. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends! May he Rest In Peace!
So sorry to hear of our neighbors passing. Got to meet Dennis years ago through the hockey
world as he loved to watch his son play. A very good person who always said hello and was
a pleasure to have as a neighbor. He will be missed.
Our condolences to the entire Schettler family
