June 16, 1934 -  July 29, 2019

Peacefully, at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, on Monday, July 29, 2019, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Jack Heidema and previously of John Douglas Paget. Loving mother of Rod (Monika), Wayne (Kim), Janice (Ron) and the late Scott (Cheryl). Step -mother of Alec (Marilyn), Yvonne (Bruce) and Jackie (Alex). Proud grandmother of Bryan, Zoe, Brooks (Brandon), Whitney, Meghan, Victoria(Ben), Ryan, Kristi (Richard), Kyle, Connor and Sarah. Dear great-grandmother of Adley, Karaline, Dillan and Paige.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at Clarkson Rd. Presbyterian Church, 1338 Clarkson Rd. N., Mississauga, on Friday, August 16, 2019, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow at the church following the service. Interment Riverside Cemetery.

In Delia’s memory, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

I will miss Aunt De's good humour and the many adventures we all had in the summer at the Severn. I'll never forget learning how she taught us to use the wringer washer without mangling an arm, to swim fearlessly and to laugh heartily.

Dee and I worked together on many card luncheons, silent auctions, and the redesign and decoration of the Margaret Terry room at Clarkson Presbyterian.
I remember many wonderful moments of making sandwiches, baking , making preserves for sale. So many good memories. Of disagreements with her and Jack about what we were doing, of many events in her life where we cried or laughed. Of her having a shoulder for me as my husband handled dementia. We enjoyed many good years together sat Clarkson
