In Celebration of

Sean Michael Delany

August 23, 1979 -  December 23, 2020

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sean Michael Delany of Mississauga on December 23, 2020, at the age of 41. Dearly beloved Husband of Taryn Sullivan, who has truly been a gift to us during this time. Treasured son of Glenn and Sandra , son in law of George and Liz (Murray) Sullivan. Deeply missed by his loving brother Ryan (Lisa) Delany and niece Layla. He will be sadly missed by his Aunts and Uncles, Warren (Sue) and Kevin (Dorcas), Tom (Bonnie), John (Terry), Guy (Linda) and his Cousins Maggie and Hannah, Leanne (Craig) , Trevor ( Deb ) , Brenna (Shawn) , Sara (Jason), Edgar ( Katie) Andrew (Jackie) and also sadly missed by Aunt Karen and Nanny Helen Murray and his sibling in laws Jordan, Lindsay, Spencer Sullivan and niece Ava. And lastly his loving fur babies, Lola and Chloe.
Throughout his young life he loved playing hockey and later watching his Raptors win and attending the parade. In his working career he rose to be a Finishing Supervisor in the Home Building Construction industry.
Sean was a kind and sensitive person with a big heart and an extremely witty sense of humor. He loved life and cherished his time with family and friends at home and at the cottage. We have so many great memories of snowmobiling, boating and skiing. Sean could spin a story around the campfire that would have people in stitches. He also had a wonderful smile that brightened your day. Sean has left us with so many beautiful memories that will live on. His love will be forever cherished in our hearts. We know he will be watching over us.

We look forward to gathering with everyone who knew and loved Sean to celebrate his life as soon as that becomes possible. Should you wish to make a donation of some form, please consider Sick Kids Hospital.

Jessica and I are deeply saddened to hear of Sean's passing. He was such a big part of my childhood growing up at the cottage. I have so many great memories of swimming, boating and cliff jumping with him. We loved to play tennis up the road, or ride our bikes to pass the time. Sean had such a big personality and a laugh that was instantly recognizable. The cottage was always more fun when he was there. I will hold these memories close.

You will be in our thoughts.

We are all so deeply saddened and heartbroken losing our nephew and cousin. We will always cherish all the memories we made at the cottage - the countless thanksgiving dinners, time spent around the campfire, boating and diving off the cliffs. Sara, Edgar and Andrew always talk about how Sean got them addicted to the Tragically Hip, ripping down the cottage road in his jeep, in his boat on the lake, or on his skidoo on the trails.

"It was in Bobcaygeon, I saw the constellations, reveal themselves one star at a time"

He will forever be in the stars overlooking the cottage.

All our love,
Uncle Guy & Aunt Linda
Sara, Jason, Emma & Jacob
Edgar, Katie, Andrew & Jackie
