Deborah Elizabeth “Debbie” Stechly

October 17, 1964 -  June 20, 2024

Passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Trillium Health Partners –Mississauga Hospital. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Stechly. Loving sister of Diane Stechly-Hoover (Chris), Sharon Gollanek (Rob) and the late Bob Stechly (2012). Cherished aunt of Emma, Samantha, Dylan David, Josh and Steve. Special niece of Jane, Ed, Rick, Krys and the late Mike and Helen.

She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. They all have special memories of her and love how thoughtful she was in the gifts that she gave them.

Debbie was a devoted Teaching Assistant for over 30 years, working with children with special needs within the Peel Board of Education. She Treasured her longtime friendships with fellow teachers and staff.

After retirement, she filled her days with all her favourite past-times like baking, garage sales, gardening and of course spending time with her cat.

She will be missed by her neighbours and especially their children.

You wouldn’t have to know Debbie for long to know that she was a passionate Leaf’s fan.
