David Willard

February 24, 1937 - June 8, 2022

David George Willard, 85 years old of Etobicoke, Ontario passed away suddenly of a heart attack on June 8th, 2022.

David is survived by his wife Joan Willard (Burton), his daughter Jennifer Dasilva( Willard), Jennifer’s husband Louis Sipidias, granddaughter Jessica Dasilva.
David was Vice-President of R.M. Louson/ Louson Desonite print supply company for over 35 years.

David loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved to golf, fish, watch the Toronto Blue Jays and laugh at his own jokes.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 2 – 5 pm.
Funeral Service will take place at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 11 am. A celebration of life will happen at a later date.

My condolence to Joan and family. Dave was someone I always looked up to even if most of our discussions were long distance.
I saw this posted photo of Dave just after it was published a few years ago and I kidded with him that I was going to our pool room at the Fire Hall and have a photo taken of me wearing one of those Louson Vests we had for one of the shows. Never got it done and regret it now.
