David will be remembered for his kindness, thoughtfulness, generosity, intelligence, humour, and deep care for others. A gifted photographer, activist, painter, draftsman, writer, and storyteller, he expressed creativity and compassion in everything he did.
He loved photographing wildlife and community events, helping on his daughter Stacey’s flower farm, rescuing and caring for ferrets, and sharing long, meaningful conversations with friends and family over pots of coffee.
He was passionate about social justice and could often be found at community gatherings, protests, and demonstrations, always advocating for fairness, equity, and justice.
David will be deeply missed by his large family and many friends, and will remain forever in our hearts.
