David Atwell

October 27, 1946 -  November 8, 2019

Atwell, David Ronald (1946-2019)

With heavy hearts we announce that, after a brief illness, Dave passed peacefully on November 8, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. Son of the late Ronald & Phyllis Atwell of Annapolis Royal, NS. Revered father of Jason (Tricia) Atwell, Kari (John) Cunningham, and step-daughter Laura Gisonni. Proud Papa of Ciara & Bradán. Beloved husband of Frances (née Drennan) and Sharon O'Neil, both deceased. Cherished partner of Nancy Gibson. Brother of John, Judy (Ed), and Lynn. Uncle to many. Friend to all.

His infectious smile and warm, generous spirit will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Visitation will be held at the Turner and Porter Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St. Mississauga) on Wednesday November 13 from 7-9 pm and Thursday November 14 from 9:30-11 am, with a memorial service at the funeral home directly following at 11 am.
