It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danilo Buenavente, who passed away in Credit Valley Hospital on Monday, May 23, 2022 at the age of 67.

Mourned and sadly missed by his wife, Elizabeth, daughter Patricia and son-in-law Ben. He was a dear brother of Myrna, Anna, Francia, Flabel, Nilda, and Jessie.

Danilo was born in Naga City, Philippines and immigrated to Canada in 1998 with his wife and daughter. After living around the world in countries such as Maldives, Saudi Arabia and UAE, Danilo & his family laid down roots in Mississauga, Ontario. Danilo took pride in his work as an electrician and industrial technician. He cheered for the Raptors (even before they were world champions) and loved the game of basketball. He is also licensed to rank in the 6th Kyu of Karate. He will be dearly missed by all his family & friends.

Visitation will take place at Turner & Porter 'Neweduk-Erin Mills' Chapel at 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (east of Erin Mills Pkwy), on Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church at 5440 Durie Road, Streetsville on Monday, May 30, 2022, at 10 am followed by an interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
