Passed away peacefully February 10, 2020, comforted with unconditional love from Mom, and family by her side. Danielle will be forever missed by Mom Louise, brother Joe, her wonderful son's Jaxson (5 yrs.) & Jayden (4 yrs.), and beautiful niece Emma.
Danielle is at peace. Her kind and gentle soul is in the loving hands of God, and the Angels. Predeceased by father Joe (2016); maternal grandmother Mary Bunk (2019); paternal grandparents Franciszek & Aleksandra Blazik.
Danielle is deeply loved, and will be sadly missed by Aunts Lorraine (Bunk), Teresa, and Diane (Blazik), Uncle Jim (Bunk), special cousins Stella & Tracy in SK; BF's Ania, Melissa, and Michelle; Chocha Irena and Uncle Walter Jankowski. Danielle was blessed to have loving, and supportive godparents, Barbara & Joe Ruggiero.
Danielle was "over the moon" with the birth of her sons Jaxson (2014), and Jayden (2015) who she loved so much. Together time was spent in nature, walking trails, at the beach, and playing catch by the lake.
Since it "takes a village" to raise children to be happy, and healthy, it will take all of us, family, friends, and amazing teachers and management at The Holy Trinity School to stay connected, and continue loving, guiding, and caring for the boys.
A little about Danielle: Loving, kind, caring, happy, helpful, and friendly. She had natural ability to make friends easily, and touched the lives of everyone she met including co-workers at RIM (Blackberry), George Brown College, Travel College Canada, and Canadian Centre for Skills Development over the course of her short life. As a part time employability skills trainer for At-risk/priority youth, Danielle loved working and helping those ready to commit to transitioning into mainstream society to gain suitable sustainable employment. She would light up the room with her beautiful smile, wherever she went.
In 1988, at the age of 7, Danielle was one of the youngest to be Reiki trained and certified in The Authentic Usui System, the Official Radiance Technique. She would do Reiki energy healing on herself especially before exams; and on Bella - her cat!
For schooling, Danielle went to High Park Montessori, Bishop Allen Academy, and studied Psychology, Sociology, Women and the Law at York University. She also studied Spanish, and Forensic Anthropology at George Brown College coercing her Mom to take courses with her! Danielle loved the highly detailed field of forensics especially analyzing homicide cold cases. Danielle was an A student excelling by dedication, interest, and focused learning.
Interests and sports over the years included jazz and ballet; Tae Kwon Do (Martial Arts) with brother Joe, and Mom; community baseball from age 3 up to adulthood, proudly playing on her Dad's work team often outscoring him!
Family vacations included weekend camping, hiking, cross country skiing, and trips on roads less travelled around the world. Danielle quickly learned, and appreciated, people everywhere in the world, are all pretty much the same.
Danielle was a great cook, organizer, and amazing helper around the house. She brought lots of laughter, love, and fun into our family. Mom misses her terribly.
For many years, and from a young age, Danielle, along with brother Joe, and Mom helped out at the Food Bank. This was humbling, helped us deepen compassion, and it was our honour to serve those in need
Gift of Life: From the time Danielle got her driver's licence at age 16, she registered with Trillium Gift of Life www.beadonor.ca Following her tragic death, multiple healthy organs were successfully transplanted to three recipients who were in Stage 5 (Renal, End of Life). We know they are in gratitude for the blessing of opportunity to live a healthy life. Danielle had a rare blood type so a recipient for her beautiful heart was not found within the tight timeframe. Choosing to be a multiple organ donor at such a young age, and renewing annually is an admirable loving achievement for a young person.
To share the blessings in your life, we encourage everyone to register online at www.beadonor.ca as someday, you may have the honour to be called upon to give the Gift of Life or may need a Gift of Life.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honour Danielle with a donation to a trust fund for her two young sons Jaxson & Jayden for their future education may do so at any TD Canada Trust branch in Canada. Account # 15762 645 5363.
Please ask the bank to show your name on the deposit Credit Memo so the donation may be acknowledged by Louise immediately. With sincere appreciation.
If Danielle could have chosen a last Poem for her precious son’s Jaxson & Jayden,
Mom, and Bro Joe it would be something like this:
Last Journey - With Endless Love from Mommy (Danielle)
There is a train at the station
With a seat reserved just for me
Heaven is the destination
Where there is only peace, love, and joy
It’s not a journey you can join in
It’s not your time today
My family is waiting
Who took an earlier train
They wait to greet me with love
To link, and wrap their arms around me
We’ll catch up on the past
and build a new beginning
One day you’ll take your journey
On the train just like me
And I promise I’ll be there
With loving arms to greet you
At the station you will see
Until then, I am always right beside you
Loving, guiding, and watching over you
As your Special Angel
Jaxson & Jayden my darlings,
Look high into the sky, through the clouds to heaven
I'm there blowing kisses, and waving to you
And I love seeing you blow kisses, and waving back.
All My Love Forever, from Mommy (Danielle)
To my Darlin’ Daughter Danielle,
With Endless Love from Mom, Jaxson & Jayden
We never had the chance to say Goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
If love alone could have saved you
You never would have died
Our tears are endless
In life we loved you so much, and
In death we will always love you
This will never change
For in our hearts you hold a place
That no one could ever fill
It broke our hearts to lose you
Our lives shattered and broke
But you didn’t go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God lead you home.
