Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at the age of 39. Adored father of Noah (17) and Hannah (11), beloved son of Rob and Diane and dear brother of Andrea, lovingly remembered by Terra Rese. Daniel will be sadly missed by his family including his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Dan was born in Toronto on July 30, 1980 and attended high school at Phillip Pocock in Mississauga, then graduated from Sheridan College with a Business Degree. He became an accomplished swimmer and worked as a lifeguard in the summer while attending college. He then worked for the family accounting business for 15 years during which time he married Terra. They had two children. In his spare time, he was active as a baseball coach and enjoyed playing basketball and golfing. He loved fishing so much that during a very rough day on the ocean while his father and others were inside the boat getting sick, he continued fishing off the side of the boat while getting sick.
Dan adored his kids, had a great sense of humour and was well liked by his clients and the other staff members at L&L LLP. He will be missed by all.
Family and friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW), on Monday, January 13 from 5-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, January 14 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
