Harold was always this amazing, debonair uncle who always made us feel like we were special and loved. He was endlessly kind and always made us laugh.
We will miss him as much as we miss our own parents.
We love you Harold, God Bless and say hi to Mom and Dad when you get to Heaven.
Harlie will always be remembered for his infectious smile. He had a zest for life which he shared with everyone.
We will miss you Harlie.
Harley was the best uncle you could ever have. I will miss him very much.
I have so many fond memories of my godfather, Harlie. Learning to fish at his cottage that he would always invite us up to in Muskoka, listening to the stories of his overseas business ventures, and the excited praise of any achievement, great or small, growing up are just a few that come to mind. He loved his family deeply, and his presence will be greatly missed, but knowing that he is in a better place is a great consolation. Goodbye, Harlie.
Harlie was was a very special person in our lives and given the time of year, I am even more more reminded of memories that flowed around the Christmas season. Harlie was the godfather and great uncle of Thomas Blaine Burton, our son. When Thomas was very young, we hosted many Christmas dinners with just five of us; Harlie, his sidekick, friend and nephew, my brother Davd Ellement and Thom and me. These Christmas Eve dinners evolved eventually to include more friends and extended family members who have shared with me their fond memories of Harlie's friendly personna and wonderful stories. We love him and will miss him very much; he will never be forgotten.
