It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Walukiewicz on Wednesday October 16, 2019. At the age of 41, Dan left this world peacefully, surrounded by his family and dear friends. His family is truly grateful to the doctors and staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre where he was respectfully and compassionately cared for. He leaves behind his parents Henry and Danuta Walukiewicz, his sister and brother in-law Monika and Martyn Skrzypczyk, his seeing eye dog Nate whom he loved so deeply and his loving family and friends. A visitation will be held at Turner and Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. West, Etobicoke, ON (between Islington & Kipling Aves.) on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 1 p.m. until the time of the Service to be held in the Chapel at 3 p.m. reception to follow. Guide Dogs of America helped Dan to achieve more than he ever imagined.
