In Celebration of
Cynthia Patricia Pellizzari
May 6, 1963 -
June 26, 2024
With great sadness we announce the passing of Cynthia Patricia Pellizzari (nee Larke). Peacefully, after a brief illness, with her family by her side, on Wednesday June 26, 2024, at Hamilton General Hospital, at the age of 61. Beloved wife of Leo for 31 love filled years. Much loved and cherished mother to Claire, Christina, and Grace.
Cynthia was predeceased by her mother Marguerite (Peggy) (nee Dale) and father Douglas. She will be sorely missed by her brothers David (Karen), John, Stephen, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Cynthia was born in Scarborough, Ontario. She spent her childhood alongside her brothers, cousins, and good friends- often sharing stories and fond memories of their times growing up together.
Cynthia graduated from Centennial Nursing school in 1989 and was known as a dedicated, kind, and compassionate Registered Nurse whose sense of humour and caring nature made a lasting impression on those she cared for, their families, and her coworkers.
Cynthia loved to spend time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her quick and witty sense of humour, contagious laugh, her love of sparkly accessories and home décor. She also had a love for travelling and spent many summers going on family trips to cottages, Florida, Europe and vacations to Alaska, Cayman Islands, and Costa Rica. Cynthia had a deep love for animals (a trait passed down to her daughters) which meant there was always numerous pets in the house, including her beloved dogs Sophie, Mickey, and Poppy.
Cremation has taken place.
Pursuant to her wishes, there will be no public memorial service.
If desired, remembrances may be made to the Oakville Humane Society.
