It is with great sadness that the family of Cynthia announce her passing on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Niagara Health at the age of 65. Beloved daughter of Carole Alexander and the late Hugh Bruce David Wilson. Devoted mother of Bruce and Nora Hedges (Kevin). Dear sister of Lori Wilson, Richard Wilson and Lisa Siezenga. Adored grandmother of Miranda, Deirdre and Declan. Predeceased by her husband Richard James Sloane. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at 1 p.m. Following the service, a reception will be held at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 344, located at 1395 Lakeshore Blvd West in Toronto. If desired, remembrances may be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation or the Niagara Health Foundation - St. Catharines.

I am so sorry to hear this very sad news about Cindy. Cindy was always so kind and caring. She was a creative cook. I remember her as being a loving Sister, Daughter, and Mother to her family. She will be missed a great deal! Rest in Peace Dear Cindy! My sincere condolences to All of Cindy's family and friends.

So sorry to hear the news of such a strong and wonderful person passing so soon. I learned so much sitting beside her in the concert band and we shared so many laughs together. She had the music in her and that's what kept her going. I will never forget the good times we shared.
