In Celebration of

Cynthia Ann Hrabets

September 28, 1959 -  March 25, 2025

Cynthia Ann Hrabets passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

Loving daughter of the late Gerald and Olga Hrabets. Loving sister of the late Lawrence Hrabets and survived by her brother Timothy Hrabets. Loving sister-in-law to Jane Hrabets, Bobbi Cosby and Chantal Brack. Loving auntie to Ashley, Natasha, Stephanie and Morgan. She loved being auntie. Loving great auntie to Silas, Leo and Lailah. Loving auntie-in-law to Tyler Oliveira. She loved being “Auntie Cindy”. Beloved godmother to Natasha and Katherine. She truly has angel wings protecting you both. Loving goddaughter of Ruby Ukrainec. No children but was the best auntie and godmother to all her children.

Remembered lovingly by her ex-husband Greg Hillgartner. Reunited with her late ex-husband Michael Gleneicki.

Kept in touch with many friends, her BFF’s Janis (Garry), Marie (Brian), “Girls Long week-end ladies” and the list could go on and on. She treasured her many longtime friends.

She loved her animals, but cats were where her heart was with her precious Tiff”o”ny Purr Purr Pat Pat

She loved anything hearts or blue, and when it was together “bonus” it was hers.

She loved her beach days, baking in the sun with a cocktail.

She loved having legendary social gatherings “More Shotsky’s”

Marilyn Monroe and diamonds are Cindy’s best friends. She will be our diamond in the sky “Shine bright like a diamond”.

Compassionate, kind and caring always remembering someone’s birthday, anniversary, graduation and even passing with a card in the mail. She never “forgot”.

Gone, but not forgotten.

Will be sadly missed by many family, friends and acquaintances.

The news of Cindy's passing hit me hard. Even though we hadn't spoken in years I always considered her a friend and would watch Facebook for news of her.

We went through school together from the earliest grades at Ogden Avenue Public school, through Allan A. Martin and until graduation at Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School. She was vivacious, fiery, yet very kind. She had many friends through this time of her life and kept many through to the end.

I have regrets about not keeping in touch with Cyn, but I guess I always thought we would get see each other at some point down the road. I will miss the fact that she isn't in the world with us, and I know many other people feel the same way I do.

Rest in Peace and love Cyn.

Over the last 35 years, whenever we were together, Cynthia had fantastic stories to tell. She very much enjoyed shopping and having a good time. She was always upbeat and had a memory for dates better than anyone I ever have known. She will be missed.
