The news of Cindy's passing hit me hard. Even though we hadn't spoken in years I always considered her a friend and would watch Facebook for news of her.
We went through school together from the earliest grades at Ogden Avenue Public school, through Allan A. Martin and until graduation at Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School. She was vivacious, fiery, yet very kind. She had many friends through this time of her life and kept many through to the end.
I have regrets about not keeping in touch with Cyn, but I guess I always thought we would get see each other at some point down the road. I will miss the fact that she isn't in the world with us, and I know many other people feel the same way I do.
Rest in Peace and love Cyn.
I first met Cynthia in grade 7 Allan A Martin back in the 70's. Very friendly girl funny beautiful smile.
May you rest in peace
Condolences to her family and closest friends.
Sincerely Leslie Cowan
Over the last 35 years, whenever we were together, Cynthia had fantastic stories to tell. She very much enjoyed shopping and having a good time. She was always upbeat and had a memory for dates better than anyone I ever have known. She will be missed.
It all began at our middle school Allan A.Martin in Mississauga some 50 ++ years ago.Our friendship & love grew, just as we did.So many fun times,so many memories.I was blessed with Cindy coming into my life to share with,to sing & dance with,to laugh & cry with.Such a Blessing!
A Celebration of Peace & Love for You Cindy!Yet, a feeling like no other of heartache.
