In Celebration of

Courtneay Sidney Lorde

November 6, 1947 -  August 27, 2023

Courtneay transitioned peacefully in his home after a courageous five-year battle with cancer on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at the age of 75.

Courtneay was born on the island of Barbados in the West Indies on November 6, 1947, to his late parents, Christopher and Miriam Lord, and was the beloved husband of Marva Lorde for 52 years. He was also the devoted brother to Edison (late Cynthia), Keith (Cher), Late Grantley (Jean), Joan (Eugene), and Andrew (Peralita).

Courtneay was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews and a friend who left an indelible mark on everyone stretching from Barbados, Canada, and those he served with in the United States Navy.

The Family will be holding a private service for Courtneay.

A livestream of the service will be available online for anyone who would wish to join us virtually, click on the tab below.
