Julia Matthew (DAUGHTER)

Entered March 21, 2021 from MISSISSAUGA, ON CANADA

My Mom Constance departed from her home country of Grenada on June16th 1979 to join her oldest daughter Cloudia and her nephews Cletus and Godfrey, while there she worked with the wise family looking after their three children who adore her very much, she was also liked by their extended families and friends. Constance proceed to have the rest of her children join her in Canada, she also help some of her grand children and family members and friends come to Canada.
My mom loved to cook and bake making sure she has something for anyone that may visit to offer them, she also loves to crochet making vest for her grandchildren and nieces.
My mom was a very active member of the Legion of Mary in her church, which she took very serious and looked forward to every week.
Rest in Peace mother, no more pains. We all miss and love you very much.

My Grandma, granny, grams, was a very firmed person but one who loved her family. She was a hard worker, although she traveled to Canada when I was a Babe, I got to know her during her numerous trips back home to visit her family, and then reunited with her in Canada. I enjoyed her numerous thanks giving meals, where she cooked and baked. I enjoy the numerous phone calls with her over the phone, where she joked about my daughter Punkie saying to her cousin; boy leave me alone. I spoke to her on her birthday, 2-24-2021, and I did not know it was her last birthday with us, I tried to speak to her on FaceTime on March 9, 2021 and she tried to respond back but she was too weak. Gone on 3-10-2021, 11 Months to the day of losing her daughter, my mom. Granny we will all miss you but we will always cherish the fondest memories you left us, love you granny Sleep in Peace

Your 5th grandchild,
Francine Matthew-Lewis
