In Celebration of

Constance (Connie) Crump

August 27, 1925 -  February 12, 2021

Passed away peacefully on February 12, 2021. Predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Leonard (2006). Much loved Mom of Robert (Nadyne), Janine (Brian) Mitsuki, Louise (Henry) Musial, Laura (Dennis) Dimitroff, Joanne (Pearce) McDonald. Loved by her grandchildren Alyson, Mark, Jeff, Kyle, Lauren, Chris, Paul, Adrienne, Katherine, Daniel (1992). Great Grandma of Noelle and Oliver.

Connie was born a twin in Minnesota, USA, and grew up in various parts of Ontario. She married Leonard in 1947 and they had a busy life raising their 5 children in Mississauga. They were long time dedicated parishioners of St. Dominic's Church on Cawthra Road. Connie enjoyed staying active at Cawthra Seniors Centre, and expressed her creativity through Japanese brush painting.

Connie was a quiet person who had a good sense of humour, and a kind, gentle spirit. She took great pride in her family and was also blessed to have a large extended family and lifelong friends.

A private family service will be held.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in her memory.

It was a pleasure being in Mrs. Crump’s company, often while sharing a hot cuppa and sweet treat. She had a kind soul and humble spirit, especially when it came to showing her paintings. My sincere condolences to Laura and the Crump family. Wish I could be there with you. May your beloved mother Rest In Peace.

Love,
Blanche

Andre extends his condolences as well.

Joanne and I have been best of friends since 1977 and as a result, Connie figured prominently in the early years of our friendship.

I am grateful to Connie for many things but primarily for raising such a wonderfully free-spirited, funny, pragmatic, and fun-loving daughter, whom I’m proud to call my best friend.

I have fond memories of sleepovers, Sunday mass, that Sandbanks camping trip, and family dinners. I know over the years that Connie enjoyed her life and lived it well. I hope the family can take some comfort in that.

My deepest condolences to you and your families.
