In Celebration of

Clarence Holloway

December 8, 1946 -  July 25, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Clarence (Clar) Holloway on Thursday July 25th, 2024 at the age of 77. Clarence passed away peacefully in his sleep at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga. Beloved husband of Mildred for 58 wonderful years. Loving father of Sandra (Mark) Provost. Cherished grandpa of Megan Provost (Vince). Dearest brother to Adelaide (Maurice), Margaret (Everett) and Leander (Judy) and brother-in-law to Beverly (Roy), Ronald (Viola), Roslyn, Paul and Harry. Treasured friend of Cal and Sherrill, Lyle and Brenadette and Brother John Frampton, and his kind neighbours/friends Henryka and Santos. Predeceased by his parents Wilson and Gertrude Holloway, his sister-in-law Donna, and his dear sister June, brothers George, Burrsel, Randy and Leander (Lee) Holloway, and best friend and cousin Doug Chalk.

Clarence was a kind and caring man who will be fondly remembered by his countless family and friends in both Newfoundland and Ontario.

As per Clarence’s wishes, a private visitation with his immediate family was held on Sunday July 28th.

Clarence loved to share stories and cherished the memories made with family and friends.
The family invites you to sign the online guestbook, express your condolences and share your fond memories of Clarence. Clarence would have wanted his family and friends to remember all of the happy times in light of his passing.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Clarence Holloway can be made to St. Francis Table in Toronto* and/or to Canadian Hearing Services.

*If you prefer to make a donation to either organization via cheque, please include “In memory of Clarence Holloway” in the memo.

To The Holloway Family
Words cannot express the shock & sadness we feel over the passing of our friend Clar. Our earlier camping trips, trips to Niagara & get togethers at each others homes made up the fun & laughter we all had. Even after Clar would tell us the same joke over & over we still laughed. .We will surely miss him. Rest in peace our friend .
