Clara Catherine Patterson (Franchetto)

July 3, 1926 - June 27, 2021

Clara Patterson passed away peacefully at Villa DaVinci on Sunday June 27, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Paul Patterson and beloved wife from her second marriage to the late Mineo Franchetto. Loving mother to Tim Patterson and mother-in-law to Elva Patterson. Cherished Grandmother to Brendon and Tyler.

Clara was always full of life whether spending time with friends, cooking amazing dinners (with way too much food left over), or visiting different sites all around the world. At the incredible age of almost 95 she can now rest and lookout for her beloved family still on earth.

If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers.

When someone you love becomes a memory the memory becomes a treasure and Clara sure was that in every way thinkable. You truly never understand what the words "I miss you" were until you reach for your mother's hand and it's not there.

Mothers always tell you to be strong because she knew that one day you would have to be strong to bear her passing, she was right.

Losing a mother is a pain that cannot be described in words. It is virtually impossible to move on from the memory of losing the woman who sacrificed happiness in her own life so that you could have a better one.

Tim, somewhere in heaven your mother is smiling down at you, remember that when you look up into the skies. Most people can only dream about seeing an angle you had the pleasure of living with one!

I was saddened to hear of Clara's passing. We bowled together and enjoyed parties. Clara was always happy and she loved to dance. After she lost Paul she found Mineo. She was lucky to know two wonderful men. Those if us that knew her were fortunate to enjoy her zest for life. Peace to you my friend. Condolences to the family.

Very sorry to hear of Clara’s passing. I have known her for about 30 yrs, both through friendship, and coming to get her hair done in my salon. We always had some good laughs..:), she will be missed! My condolences to her son, and extended family..♥️
