In Celebration of

Clara Angeloni

January 6, 1933 -  October 26, 2024

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our matriarch Clara Angeloni (Macerola) on Saturday October 26, 2024. After many years she is now reunited with her love, her husband Giuseppe.

She was born in Aielli, Aquila Italy January 6, 1933 to Benedetto and Antonietta Macerola and is predeceased by her brothers Giovanni and Flavio.

Clara was married by proxy in November of 1955. Then in April of 1956 she made her way via the ship La Roma to Nova Scotia. There she was met by Giuseppe, and together via train, they made their way to Mississauga where they settled and started their family.

She was a devoted spouse, mother and homemaker, who enjoyed spending time sewing, knitting and crocheting. Known for her gardening, abundance of preserves, big pots of brodo and sugo with meatballs. There was always a pot on the stove with a delicious aroma.

Clara's legacy lives on through her children, Tony Angeloni (Maria), Elsa Bunting (Don Duff), Ben Angeloni (Connie), Dina (Kraig Stearns) her beloved grandchildren Clara, Daniela (Adrian Mancinelli), Emily (Kieran Boyd), Marco, Christina (Derek Mathew), Nicholas (Andreas Engel), Rachel (Marcello Leone) great grandchildren Maeve, Matteo, Pierce and Luca who were the joys of her life.

She will also be deeply missed by sister in law Emidia, goddaughter Alice, niece Mena, nephews Ben Macerola (Vita) and Domenic, great nieces/nephew Francesca, Victoria and Julian and great grand niece Alessandra.

Our mother's life was rich with family love.

A visitation will be held at Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, Mississauga on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Mississauga. Clara will be laid to rest immediately afterwards at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Mississauga.

In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to the Parkinson Association.

Clara's memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the memories she created will endure. Rest in Peace Ma❤️

I have fond memories of hanging out in the summer with your Dad and Mom on the front porch
Your parents were always good to me and always made me eat something!
