June 8, 1950 - March 12, 2024

Passed away at home on March 12, 2024 at the age of 73.

Beloved wife of Victor for over 50 years. Cherished mother of Diane (Gord) and Mishel (Jake). Beloved daughter of the late Casimiro, and Gertrude. Much loved sister of Carminda (late Roland) and Miguel (Kristina). Adored Nana to Justin, Ashley, Tori, Nicholas, and Nolan.

Cidalia was a caregiver both at work and at heart, assisting residents of long term care as a personal support worker. She built a beautiful home for her family, adorned by a stunning garden and filled with the smells of her delicious cooking. A lover of nature and water, she was always “chasing the waves.”

Her family will miss her dearly, and are grateful that her spirit is free.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., (Hwy. 10, N of the QEW) on Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 2-6 p.m.

Minka, this doesn’t feel real - it wasn’t your time to go. We wanted more time with you, more hugs with you, more laughs with you, more of a lot of things with you. I can’t even remember the last time I got to talk to you. But I can remember how you made me feel every time we hugged - and that I will always hold onto. I am so grateful for the extra time we got to spend with you when you helped us with my dad. He and Avo will no doubt be hugging you closely now for all of us. We love you and you will forever be our Minka. 💕
